Final Training Objectives

• Understood the importance of actions and measures aimed at reducing air pollution in their cities

• Linked city development with air quality management and pollution control

• Reviewed the institutional arrangements needed in city governments for a better integrated air quality management

Target Group

• Decision-makers and planners in local city governments and administrations: city top administration officials, heads of agriculture, environment, health, transport, energy departments, city and urban planning departments

• It is key for this workshop that high level officials from different departments participate together

• Mayors/vice-mayors, chiefs of provincial administrations

Methods

The training includes brainstorming, high impact visual presentations by national and/or internationally recognized AQM experts, site-visits. Each participant will be provided with a set of workshop-related documents and job aids.
