Accra, Ghana: Moving more people with high quality buses
This is a project case story within the framework of the TUMI Challenge 2018. Due to the inadequate public transport services in Accra, the goal is to implement a Quality Bus Service to improve the capacity and quality of public buses. The goal is to shift towards electric buses by 2050. Another topic is the Pedestrian Road Safety Action Plan with the aim to develop strategies to ensure the safety of all road users. This case story provides an overview about the measures and plans for Accra.
