In 2017, and with one decade of experience in transport planning, Jan Rickmeyer joined the TUMI where he is responsible for sustainable transport policy counseling on local, regional and international levels. Jan is well connected and deeply embedded within development cooperation missions and international sustainable mobility projects through his experiences in various positions such as the Cycling Coordinator of the City of Leipzig, Project Manager for European Union projects Central MeetBike and DEMO EC, and associate for CycleCities and MOVCIT projects. These experiences, along with his support of organizations like the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation in Russia and Connective Cities Initiative in Thailand and the Philippines, have built upon his passion for cycling with hands-on contributions to strategic cycling development initiatives and integration of non-motorized transport within Germany and internationally.
