Angela is a Senior Associate and provides project management and research support on climate change and urban transport projects. Prior to SLoCaT, Angela was an Associate at the World Resources Institute where she supported research on the topics of urban transport actions and policies within the climate agendas on the sub-national, national and global levels. She was also the lead of the Low Emissions Development Strategies Global Partnership (LEDS GP) Transport Working Group where she provided capacity building support to national and subnational governments on how to plan and implement sustainable, low carbon transport actions. Prior to joining WRI, Angela worked as a Transportation Planner in the public and private sectors. Her responsibilities included performing stakeholder outreach, market research, and developing cost-effective alternatives within budgetary constraints for public transport projects.
Angela holds a joint Master of Science in Regional Development Planning and Management from Technische Universität Dortmund and University of the Philippines, Diliman and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis and Design from the University of California, Irvine. She currently resides in Washington, DC.
