Can electric mobility transform mobility and help countries achieve sustainable development and decarbonization goals? What will it take to get it right? Led by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), under the umbrella of SuM4All, a group of experts developed this policy framework and actionable guidance to support sustainable electric mobility. This event will present findings from the newly released study/report, “Sustainable Electric Mobility – Building Blocks and Policy Recommendations.” The report focuses on policy enablers to e-powered mobility solutions. It is part of a comprehensive effort undertaken by the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) initiative to elaborate an actionable Global Roadmap of Action toward Sustainable Mobility (GRA).
A panel of experts will deep-dive on the best policy framework for an integrated and sustainable introduction of electric mobility with examples of policy conditions under which this model works. This event is open to public policymakers, transport and energy experts, researchers, and the wider public and private sector stakeholders interested in the accelerated development of sustainable electric mobility.
