The city of Bogotá shows high rates of gender-based violence such as sexual harassment on the street and in public transport. This affects negatively the mobility and use of public spaces by women and girls.
The pilot consists of three complementary components:
1. The collection of geo-referenced data with the help of the Safetipin App and 14.000 interviews with women.
2. The development of a women's safety index and the presentation of the results in an international event.
3. The implementation of small-scale pilot interventions in selected locations to improve the situation.
