The challenge

Shared mobility in Hoi An is mostly based on motorbikes and cars and the trend “shared mobility” has not caught on in the non-motorized transport sector.

The pilot

An NMT plan to support sustainable transportation in Hoi An will be developed. This will include the piloting of bicycle lane and establishing a public-private partnership bicycle sharing program to foster non-motorized shared mobility solutions. To support cycling, the project will support in purchasing the first bikes initiate the construction of a bike path thru the city of Hoi An with clearly maked bike lanes and 30-zones to ensure safety of the cyclists.
